Technical Sales and Customer Service Representative

Seeking Local Candidates - Compton

Pro Comp, Smittybilt and G2 are the leaders in light truck and SUV aftermarket products, manufacturing and wholesale distribution. We are seeking a Technical/ Customer Service/Sales Representative to provide a high level of customer and technical assistance to our customer base, including answering incoming phone calls, e-mails and completing call logs.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Answering customer calls regarding product information, pricing, sales, order tracking and returns
• Being aware and responsible for sales goals
• Making outbound sales calls
• Traveling to all necessary shows and events
• Attending trade shows as a sales representative as well as aide in set up / tear down
• Entering sales orders and creating RGA numbers as required
• Researching and resolving customer packaging and/or shipping discrepancies
• Keeping accurate record of calls
• Entering technical issues in call log as they occur
• Identifying problems and reporting them to a supervisor
• Adhere to and support all company policies / procedures
• Cooperate with all members of management & co-workers
• Commit to good attendance and punctuality

The ideal candidate will posses the following skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent
• Minimum of 2+ years of sales support experience at similar level
• Good communications skills
• Possess good computer skills (Word, Excel)
• Team player, able to work with variety of personalities
• Suspension knowledge a must. Tire, wheel, and gear knowledge a plus

Manufacturing Manager

Pro Comp Suspension Systems is the leader in light truck aftermarket suspension system manufacturing and wholesale distribution. We are seeking a motivated hands-on Manufacturing Manager to provide leadership, work direction and supervision of the production team to ensure product is manufactured on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• 4 year degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive management experience with broad based knowledge of progressive manufacturing practices including Lean principles, production scheduling, resources planning, budgeting and cost control.
• Proven manufacturing process improvement
• Must have previous experience with strategic planning and allocation of resources
• Knowledge of machining and/or machinist experience
• Must be proficient with PC’s and ERP/MRP
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and teaming skills
• Proven ability to plan, make decisions and prioritize

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide leadership and direction to manufacturing functional managers
• Prioritizes and expedites work orders
• Develop routing by work station and manufacturing standards
• Work with engineering to bring product to market on time and on budget
• Ensures manufactured product quality standards are met while meeting cost objectives and lean initiatives
• Output and efficiency accountability
• Encouraging an environment based on teamwork and continuous improvement though support and execution of Lean Manufacturing Practices (raising yields, improving quality, increasing throughput, and cycle time reduction)
• Drive continuous improvement within the workforce by taking leadership role in driving Lean Manufacturing and through mentoring and coaching
• Develops and monitors manufacturing budgets, and provides reporting on costs and labor
• Ensures that safety and housekeeping standards are met
